Also loading a savegame results in a crash, I'll try to look into that too. This is a mod based on the book series by George R.R. I'll upload it to the workshop soon.ĮDIT 2 : Looking into the bug that prevents production being chosen, it appears to happen when either 'Mathematics' or 'Guilds' is researched. Not sure of the cause.ĮDIT: I've created a little 'Unoffical Patch' which seems to prevent the crash at the start of a game when just the BNW version is enabled (as well as the patch). Make sure you delete the corrupt save (a large 'CIV5SAVE' file located at 'C:\Users\*USERNAME*\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\ModdedSaves\single\auto') after a start of game crash.Īlso, when selecting 'The Vale' (Petyr) as my civ the crash occurred again for a couple of attempts but after testing different civs 'The Vale' seems to be working.

Also didn't test with any other mods enabled. I haven't played past turn 10 so there may still be major issues. For me the maps were the first out of the two in the list. In the 2nd century BC Rome intervened on the side of Massilia (Marseilles), a Greek colony founded in 600 BC, in its struggle against the barbarian tribes of the hinterland. France led by Louis XIV is a custom civilization by JFD and Janboruta, with contributions from bernie14. You can work out the version of the map you want from the tooltips. I needed to select a map from the G&K version of the mod (the BNW versions resulted in a crash). I've tested it out, loading both can allow a game to be started successfully. You, and your utterly simple solution that no one else has ever apparently thought of. I have checked back on this page from time to time, hoping that someone would find a way to fix this mod, and I never thought it would happen. Why did the creator never tell us this?!?! Wow! it works! I have been following this mod since before BNW, and was so bummed when it wasn't working for BNW. Also, I believe that I had bought the Korea DLC after the last time I tried this mod, and before This fix came up. The one I experienced before this was the latter. If it helps, I have all the DLC for Civ, and I run it in DirectX 11 mode.Īnother thing to note is it seemed people would get two bugs in relation to this mod: one where the game would freeze upon loading a game or scenario, and another where the civs and maps would not appear properly, or even at all. If anyone else has input, it would be appreciated. Looks like this fix works for some people (like me) but not for others.
